A group of at least 14 masked thieves was caught breaking into a Bajaj dealership in Brazil and fleeing with more than 10 motorcycles.
The incident took place in Itajaí, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina state, in southern Brazil, in the early hours of last Tuesday (13), according to information from the Military Police (PM).
Security camera footage from the dealership shows the thieves smashing the store’s glass windows before entering. Just seconds later, they began riding the motorcycles out of the showroom. The entire action lasted less than three minutes.

According to local media outlets, the store manager explained that the motorcycle keys were left in the ignitions to facilitate moving the vehicles around the lot. After the incident, he stated that this procedure will be reviewed.
Police arrived at the scene at around 2:40 a.m. to respond to the incident. According to authorities, seven suspects have been detained so far.
One of the suspects, an 18-year-old, was found lying near the scene with bleeding injuries. He was taken to hospital, where fractures to the tibia and fibula were confirmed.

Three other suspects were detained by the Military Police in the neighboring cities of Camboriú and Balneário Camboriú: a 25-year-old man and two teenagers, aged 17 and 16.
The Balneário Camboriú Municipal Guard also apprehended two teenagers, aged 16 and 15, suspected of involvement in the crime. A fifth teenager was also detained, but the location was not disclosed.
Of the 12 motorcycles taken, all have already been recovered, but seven individuals remain at large. Police are still searching for the remaining suspects.
“Initially, they themselves admitted that they had no clear plan for what would happen to the motorcycles—whether they would resell them or use them,” said police chief Ricardo Melo, according to g1.
“Some of them even decided at the moment where they would abandon the motorcycles. It was not a single location; they hid them in places that, in their view, were viable.”
